During project preparation and initial discussions with the client, they informed us of the need to create a website for selling flowers.
However, the request was for the website to be more of a catalog than an online store. Most of their clients are wholesalers, so it was necessary to create an online store that was easy to navigate. Although the main product is the sale of flowers, the request was for the site to resemble a catalog rather than a creative work of art.
To maintain the romanticism of the products offered while fulfilling the client’s vision, we chose soft and delicate colors. For decoration, we opted for the use of ellipses, which are part of the client’s logo and represent diversity, availability, and lightness.
Regarding the choice of typography, we opted for sans-serif fonts. This combination of decorative elements allowed us to create an online store that is highly functional yet not cold.

DEVELOPMENT
Our client Bloei’s specialty lies in the fact that their catalog will contain hundreds, even thousands of products. These products are categorized based on their characteristics, such as length, diameter, country of origin, and others.
The client needed to create a catalog for their wholesale customers. In these cases, pricing is always a delicate matter, as wholesalers do not want their wholesale prices to be visible to the general public.
However, in order not to limit the reach of our client’s offer, we implemented a solution where prices are only visible to registered users; furthermore, the administrator must authorize each user who registers. Thanks to this approach, the client has control over who is registered on the website and who can access full product information, including prices and the ability to make purchases.
The entire catalog has been customized, including filters, registration confirmation functionalities, the implementation of the Recargo de Equivalencia (a type of tax in Spain), and other additional features.
